The hands behind Rustic Revival Co.
Rustic Revival Co. is the work of Jaün-André Muller, a maker shaped by years of travel, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for natural materials. Over the past fourteen years, Jaün-André travelled extensively — from America and Italy to France, the Maldives, and beyond, drawing influence from the art, architecture, and traditional making found along the way.
Now based in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal, his practice is rooted in a quieter, more intentional approach. The timber he works with is often personally sourced through exploration of local beaches, forests, and natural landscapes, selected for its character, movement, and presence.
Each piece is made by hand, guided by an understanding of material, form, and balance developed through years of experience. Jaün-André’s work reflects a refined approach to craftsmanship and artistic expression, resulting in objects designed to endure and command space.
Alongside a small, curated collection, he collaborates closely with clients to create custom pieces that respond thoughtfully to their environments.
